Treasure Hunt for Kids Birthday Party Detective Game: Scavenger Hunt for Children

This game is a mix of a treasure hunt, a scavenger hunt and an escape room. It is perfectly suited for smaller groups at children’s birthdays, in elementary school or “just for fun” at home. The game can be played inside or outside and was designed for elementary school children from the second grade onwards. In order to enjoy the game and the puzzles fully, the children should be able to read relatively well. There are ten different puzzles in total, in which the children have to guess, fold and combine clues. The aim of each puzzle is to find a three-digit code. This code then has to be put in the decoding machine. Afterwards, the decoding machine shows the hiding place of the next puzzle. At the end of the game, the children will find a treasure. If all the puzzles are hidden in your house or apartment, the game takes about 60 minutes. When hiding the puzzles outdoors, the duration of the game can be extended. The game is suited for up to 8 children from 7 to 10 years old. All necessary materials (including invitation cards) are available in this book and can just be cut out. Preparation time is only about 15 to 20 minutes.
