Book buybacks for K–12 schools

Updating a course, clearing a storage room, or retiring a classroom set? Good Books Company considers school books for buyback. Send the details of the inventory your school is ready to release.

Make classroom sets easy to review

For each title, list its ISBN, edition, and quantity. Separate teacher editions, student editions, workbooks, and different bindings. If the exact number is still being counted, label it as an estimate.

Describe the books as they are: writing or completed exercises, school stamps, labels, missing pages or supplements, and visible damage are useful details. Do not assume that an unused access code is included unless you have checked the particular copy.

Tell us what the school needs

  • School name and the person authorized to coordinate the inquiry.
  • City and state, approximate volume, and where the books are stored.
  • Any deadline for clearing the space.
  • Any inventory paperwork or access arrangements that need to be discussed.

What happens next

We can use your information to assess the request. Acceptance and an offer depend on the books and the proposed arrangements. The written bid or pickup confirmation controls any agreed inspection, collection or freight, and payment terms.
