This recovery study identifies the root causes of the lies that women believe after struggling in very difficult relationships. You can counteract self-doubt and deep discouragement with this study. Many women have grown in self-confidence and have experienced a deeper level of emotional healing after combating the lies with the truth shared in this study. Psalm 119:105 teaches that God’s Word is “a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” It is His light that will lead you out of the darkness. Post-traumatic stress (PTSD) is part of so many women’s journeys who have experienced various types of abuse. Trauma responses can be confusing and shame-filled without understanding they are a normal response. Calming techniques are included in each of these two lessons. Many of our Oasis women have cried during class as they realized the depth of psychological and emotional harm done to them. The good news is that your brain has been amazingly created by God and healing is possible. This study equips you to confidently manage daily life, no matter what you are facing. As you delight in God’s Word, your resilience will be like “a tree planted by the streams of water which yields its fruit in its season” (Psalm 1:2-3). God is calling you to a place of resilience to sit with Him by that stream as He tenderly and unconditionally loves you and tells you that you are going to be okay. He wants you to know that you are truly a “woman of strength and dignity” (Proverbs 31:25). Women who join our online Oasis Bible Study groups find a safe and confidential community with other sisters on their journey of healing, growth, and resilience. When they're ready, in the classes or support groups, women realize that Living Waters of Hope provides a personal small group setting in which you can find acceptance, new friends, and a caring facilitator.
