About the Film Noir Foundation: The Film Noir Foundation is a non-profit public benefit corporation created by Eddie Muller in 2005 to educate and promote the cultural, historical, and artistic significance of film noir as an international cinematic movement. It is the foundation's mission to find and preserve films noir in danger of deterioration, damage or loss, and to ensure that high quality prints of these classic films remain in circulation for theatrical exhibition. Once these films are unearthed, restored and returned to circulation, the chances increase that the films will be made available on Blu-ray and for online streaming for future generations of film lovers to appreciate. Since its founding, the FNF has restored, through UCLA Film & Television Archive, and returned to circulation fourteen films -- Cry Danger (1951), The Prowler (1951), Try and Get Me!
