As I sit down to write this, I am humbled and awed that God has brought me this far. I wouldn’t be here without Him, and I am so grateful for the ability to look back on my life and see all the ways He has worked. I pray that this book would encourage you to look back over your own life—I promise you won’t have to search long before you can see His faithful hand in your own story.I would like to make it clear that I am no Bible scholar, just a woman who has been changed by the blood of Jesus Christ and saved by His grace. Nothing good you will see about me is from me—it is all Him. This is my personal story, and I am not judging anyone based on their religion. I believe that your religion is your personal choice. The purpose of this book is to simply walk you through my trials and victories, and show you where the hope is that I have found.That hope in my life is Jesus. I believe that as much as your family loves you, they cannot save you. The only one who can intercede for us and give salvation is Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for our sins, and three days later rose from the dead, showing His power over sin and death.No matter where you are in life or what struggles you are experiencing, just know that you are not alone. You have a iiiFather in heaven Who loves you and accepts you, and is waiting with open arms to receive you into His family.Because of my salvation, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, and want to share it with the world. After years of searching for love, identity and purpose in all the wrong places, I found Jesus, and He has set me free from the guilt and shame I once felt. I am just so thankful for all He has done for me.I pray that this book will encourage and inspire you. Regardless of where you are in your faith, I pray that through my story, you can see that God can radically transform your life if you let Him in.
