This volume continues the autobiography of Dr. John Corboy, whose youth growing up in Hawai'i was described in Book One, Life and Times of Little Johnny Corboy, Providence in the Pacific. Dr. Corboy is the well-known creator of Hawaiian Eye Center and Hawaiian Eye Foundation, an internationally recognized surgeon. He was also a humanitarian, pilot, teacher, broadcaster, and now author. This book, "School Daze", details the amusing and interesting story of Corboy's 1950s and '60s education, including pre-med at Loyola University, Chicago, motorcycle adventures, romances and return visits to Hawai'i. He tells of his experience as an exchange student in Germany. We also learn of his med school training at University of Illinois, Chicago, internship at Rush-Presbyterian and his marriage. He was later drafted by the selective service, US Coast Guard and California Border Quarantine during the Vietnam era.
