Grace Happens: An Awakening of Consciousness

Adapted from the Editor’s Note: This is the story of one man’s journey of Self-Realization. It is a raw and honest report of the awakening of consciousness told from both a bird’s-eye view and from the ground of everyday living. This book reveals the divine truth about each of us and what is possible for humanity. While Awakening is not exclusive to Phil, there are few accounts such as this one, primarily because his multi-year awakening process was being documented as it was unfolding. In the first half of the book – chapters one through six – there are two distinct voices working in tandem: one during the awakening (emails and journal entries) and one reflecting on and explaining it afterwards (commentaries). In this way, we are shown a highly unusual and deeply personal perspective on the awakening process. In the second half of the book, there is an extensive no-holds-barred Q&A interview, an epilogue reflecting Phil’s deepest insights, a compendium of the Masters and modern-day sages that profoundly influenced the author, and a list of books and recordings that he found most useful during his journey. It is no more and no less than radically Seeing and Accepting What Is…Just As It Is. While there are extensive spiritual resources offered herein, this is not a “how-to” book filled with techniques. Additionally, no effort is made to encourage you to embrace a specific teacher or practice. While I deeply respect and honor all paths, this book is simply a document of my experience and not meant to promote any ideology or methodology.
