David, the great King of Israel, is mentioned more than any other person in the Hebrew Bible and second only to Jesus in the whole Bible. Nearly half of the book of Psalms was written by him. He was called “a man after God’s own heart.” He had the heart of a king, and his heart was devoted to the great King of all. What does it mean to be a person who is fit for a King?
