The purpose of this book is to share the things I wished someone would have shared with me. There are many things in life that we go through that make us who we are and make us great. This book is meant to be informational and applicable to your everyday life situations. Some of the concepts and ideas shared in this book might not be new information to you, but the hope is to provide you with different ways to view and approach life and help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to become great in life. Let's discuss what encompasses these different components of your life: Your Educational Life: Your educational or academic life can be how and where you learn - it does not always have to be formal education. This can apply to current college students, future college students, self-taught individuals, and life-long learners. After all, almost every one of us is educating ourselves as we learn and develop in life. Your Personal Life: Your personal life is your preferences, interests, and activities outside your educational and professional lives. This includes your interactions with family, friends, neighbors, and yourself. Your personal life includes leisure, passions, hobbies, and various mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual components. Your values, choices, beliefs, and identity also define your personal life. Your Professional Life: Your professional life is where you work, provide a service, or engage in an activity for profit or gain. This could be within your occupation, job, career, dealings, volunteering, or internship activity, or following your passion. Reflective Questions Lastly, this book will contain reflective questions that you can apply to your daily life. The purpose of these questions is to help you to learn, evolve, heal, and grow. These questions are meant to help you think about where you came from, where you are now, and where you are going. You can use these questions as important tools while reading this book, as they are also meant to help you reflect upon the various points and phases in your life. The reflective questions at the end of each chapter can help you understand, process, and reflect on what you have learned in this book. There is a section for taking notes in the book, or you can use a journal (a physical or digital journal), depending on your preference.
