A Legacy in Motion: Celebrating 30 Years of the Black History 101 Mobile Museum

What began as the vision of a passionate middle school social studies teacher has evolved into a nationally and internationally acclaimed institution dedicated to preserving and sharing the untold stories of Black history. Over the past three decades, the Black History 101 Mobile Museum has traveled across the country, showcasing a carefully curated selection of artifacts from its expansive archive. This commemorative book, A Legacy in Motion, features 101 of these artifacts, each one personally collected by founder Dr. Khalid el-Hakim.
