It’s worth having an 11-year-old review my books! After providing great insights on my previous books (Learn About France For Kids and Learn About Costa Rica For Kids), I asked the same 11-year-old what he thought about my book on Portugal. After all, this book is meant to appeal to 8-12-year-olds. He was quick with comments: I like that you added a recipe for Aletria Can you show more about the caves in the Algarves? Can kids walk on the Camino? How would the police know if you peed in the sea? Are you sure cork grows on trees? That’s a LOT of lavender! I liked the legend of the rooster, keep that in So, I went back to work and considered his questions and comments so I could satisfy his 11-year-old curiosity.
