Metanoia is a poetry book that tells a story of grieving, changing, questioning, and healing after loss and an abusive relationship. Readers follow the author through five sections, Breaking, Leaving, Hurting, Healing, and Loving, where she explores the complexities of leaving toxic relationships, healing after abuse and sexual violence, and questioning your faith and identity after loss. This book aims to show readers that change is not always linear, and often painful. Along with hoping to inspire other survivors of domestic violence, the author hopes to inspire all readers to learn to tell and own their story.
