From My Perspective... It was all GOLDEN

Would that I had known how my ancestors made it through this thing called life. Was it this hard? Was it this wonderful? How did I get from being “the second bomb dropped in 1941” through a life in the Ministry, hurtful Segregation, opposition to the War in Vietnam, a Hippy lifestyle with 3 little boys, a Blacksmith husband who had degrees in Psychology and Literature while I completed multiple degrees myself? “What do you mean you had NO BED for 46 years?” Am I a Born Again Druid? “You gave up the comfort and security of good jobs and ate Sardines every day for 5 years so that you could grow herbs? “So now I write, I read, I paint, I talk with cats, birds, wasps, bees and plants. I make cookies, I grow things. It’s all been Golden, not easy, not without pain and scorn of others but GOLDEN.
