ASCEND a missions devotional journal The following pages are intended to be an aid to your morning devotions. This is the time you have set aside every day where you get alone with God to talk with Him in prayer, and listen to Him in your Bible reading. On the first page, you will have room to thank the Lord for His goodness and to write down the major prayer requests of the day. Then, there is room for you to pray specifically for a missionary. Pray fervently, pray specifically. Lastly, you will be given a new country every day. Ask God to send forth laborers into His harvest! On the second page, you will find the Bible reading schedule for the day followed by room to write down how God spoke to your heart through His word. You will be amazed how much more you get out of the Bible if you are listening for God’s voice! This Bible reading plan will supply you with a daily Psalm, Proverb, Old Testament passage, and a New Testament passage. By the end of one year, you will have read your entire Bible through! This devotional book is a TWO PART series. Each book will contain the material for one half of the year. I hope this journal will be a help to you as you go before the throne of grace and daily seek the Lord!
